Check out my new pad in Costa Rica!
I know I haven’t been updating y’all with what’s been going on with me. It’s been a bit crazy, but that’s no excuse.
Here’s a quick update:
-Stayed in Costa Rica until December 19th
-Landed a sweet job as the Social Media Marketing Manager with Costa Rica Outward Bound before leaving
-Spent the holidays with friends, family, and my girlfriend in the states
-Was in both fantasy football super bowls, won one and lost one (nerd alert)
-Had amazing times with friends, family, and Violet while I was there!
-Went on a Vegas trip for my cousin’s 21st birthday, where I randomly ran into one of my new co-workers from Costa Rica at Club XS
-Came back to Costa Rica on January 15th
-Started the Marketing job on the 16th
-Director of Communications put in her notice to quit on the 16th
-I said “F’ it, I’m gonna apply for that position!”
-Was offered the Director of Communications position on the 17th (instant upgrade! Woohoo!)
-annnnnnnd that’s what’s happening
Here’s a virtual tour of my new pad here in Costa Rica:
Bocas Del Toro, Panama
Bocas Del Toro, Panama is one of my favorite places on Earth so far. It’s difficult to explain why, but the low crime, happy people, BEAUTIFUL beaches/architecture/waters, and great vibe of the place has a little something to do with it
It was a great adventure the entire time. Enjoy!
Cartago, Costa Rica
Cartago is about an hour from San Jose and has a couple of amazing churches, as well as the Lankester Botanical Garden. All of the photos below are of the churches and areas within the botanical garden. One of my favorite shots of all time is in this set, and it is in the Japanese Garden. Can you guess which one?? I’ll give you a hint…there’s a red bridge in it
Enjoy!
Monteverde, Costa Rica
Monteverde is in one of the “Cloud Forests” in Costa Rica. It’s basically a rainforest so high up in the mountain that it sits amongst the clouds. The sounds of the rainforest is absolutely amazing (and scary at times!), but mostly amazing
Some of the photos below are from the cloud forest and some are from the butterfly and hummingbird reserve up in the mountain. At least see the hummingbird pics at the end because one actually landed on my finger!!
Playas Del Coco, Costa Rica
Playas Del Coco is a cool little beach town with a bit more “advanced” infrastructure (bars, restaurants, etc.) but still has a small town feel. It’s close to Playa Hermosa and Playa Panama in the Guanacaste province. Most of the photos in the slideshow below are from a Sunset Sailing Tour I did. I highly recommend it if you go here.
Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica
Manuel Antonio is known for its beautiful National Park and beaches, and it deserves all of its recognition. This small town has three amazing beaches that leave me in awe (and I’ve been there twice already). I hope you enjoy the slideshow
